Training Schedule



The following table lists all of the currently scheduled classes offered by MU FRTI. The table is sorted by Start Date. If you see a class that you are interested in attending, please phone the contact person listed, or our office. This schedule is updated weekly.

MU FRTI proudly acknowledges the partnership and support of various Missouri departments, agencies, organizations, and groups that enable no cost training opportunities through subsidized funding. In the following table of upcoming courses, the color coded acronym key identifies those courses that are being subsidized by a specific funding source. The color coding acronym key and associated agency/entity providing the funding/support is as follows:

FIRE

State Fire Training Funding – Funding provided by the Division of Fire Safety (DFS) and the Missouri Fire Safety Education / Advisory Commission. State Funding sources include: DFS General Revenue (GR) Fire Training Fund and Fire Education Fund.

CEPF

Chemical Emergency Preparedness Fund (CEPF) – Funding provided through the Division of Fire Safety and the Missouri Fire Safety Education/Advisory Commission.

SEMA

State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA)

MERC

Missouri Emergency Response Commission (MERC)

NFA

NFA State Fire Training Systems Grant – provided by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, United States Fire Administration – National Fire Academy (NFA).

MODOT

Highway Safety Grant – Missouri Department of Transportation Traffic and Highway Safety Division.

FPS

Fire Prevention & Safety Grant - U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, AFG/Fire Prevention and Safety Grant Program.

SF

State Farm Insurance — Corporate gift donation to support training for fire and emergency service personnel.

FFIC

Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company (Heritage Program) — Corporate gift donation to support training for firefighters.
